ampernova
One system · every room

Warm floors.
Cool ceilings.

Ampernova heats and cools your home through the floor and the ceiling — no fans, no draughts, and every room set on its own.

Why it feels different

Surfaces, not air.

Radiant conditions a room through its surfaces instead of blowing air around it. Underfloor heating alone only ever warms the floor: a table top, a worktop, the back of a sofa all sit in its shadow and stay cold to the touch. Warmth coming down from the ceiling reaches everything facing upwards, so the whole room — furniture included — settles at one temperature. In summer those same surfaces cool it, with no fan running anywhere in the house.

CEILING FLOOR
In winter the floor is held gently warm and the ceiling regulates the room. In summer the ceiling cools, and the circulating water is warmed just enough that nothing condenses.
01

Every room to itself

Each room has its own thermostat and its own target. No room is ever heated to suit another one, and nothing is set for the whole house from a single dial on a landing.

02

A floor that stays warm

In winter the floor is held gently warm around the clock while the ceiling does the regulating — so the floor is warm underfoot all season, not just while the room is calling for heat.

03

Cooling with no draught

The ceiling cools the way shade does. No fan anywhere in the house, no moving air, and nothing blowing across the room while you are trying to sleep.

04

Condensation guard

When the air turns humid, the system warms the circulating water just enough that nothing can form on the ceiling — and carries on cooling, instead of shutting down until the air dries out.

Nothing to subscribe to

It works without us.

The heating runs from the thermostats on your walls and the controller in the plant room. No account, no app, no internet connection. If we disappeared tomorrow, your house would still be warm.

Smart home, only if you want it

Every room, in your home app

Each zone can appear in Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa over Matter, or in Home Assistant on your own network with no internet at all. Switch none of it on and nothing changes about the heating.

For installers and trade

One setting per room.

Wire the thermostat to the pair, tell it which thermal actuator it drives, and the plant does the rest. Fourteen zones on one two-wire bus, and a single pair from the plant room reaches every thermostat in the building.

Plug and play
One choice per unit: which thermal actuator it drives, picked as a zone on the thermostat itself. No laptop, no addressing scheme to plan.
It catches your mistakes
A mixing valve stuck or plumbed backwards, a missing pipe probe, two units on one address — raised on site, before it becomes a warranty call.
Everything is logged
Room and pipe temperatures, mixing valve position, and which thermal actuator and pump is open, minute by minute. Troubleshoot from the record.
Wiring and pumps
One relay per zone, fourteen in all, plus a ceiling pump and a floor pump — each pump held three minutes behind its valves so it never runs dry.
The bus
A 36 V two-wire bus. One pair leaves the plant room and reaches every thermostat in the building.
The hardware
An e‑paper display in every room that holds its reading without power, capacitive touch, and on-board temperature and humidity sensing.
